Mail Migration Info
In order to use the new email system, you must complete certain steps. You need to log in to the new web mail system in order to set your password before you can use your new Zimbra mailbox.

Quick Settings

The new settings you will need to access your email account once you have been migrated are listed below. Webmail URL: http://mx.astatic.net/ Incoming (POP or IMAP) Server: mx.astatic.net Outgoing (SMTP) Server: mx.astatic.net Username: Your full email address, e.g. name@customer.com Authentication is required for all outgoing messages Port 587 is provided for outgoing mail as an alternate to our customers whose ISPs block port 25 traffic. Password Info: Some users' passwords can be migrated, and some cannot. If your password was migrated, you may log in with your original password. If we were unable to migrate your password, one will be mailed to you and you will have to change your password the first time you log in.

New Webmail Client and System Requirements

Our new webmail client is much more advanced than most. Therefore, some browsers may not be compatible with the full client. For our customers with older browsers, we also provide an HTML-only client so that everyone may access their mail. The system requirements for the advanced interface are: Windows: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or higher. Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or higher Macintosh: Apple Safari (recent versions) Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or higher Linux: Konqueror 3.0 or higher Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or higher The recommended browser for all platforms is Mozilla Firefox 2.0 DO NOT USE Internet Explorer 6! There is a very bad memory leak bug in the javascript implementation of IE6 that will cause a gradual slowing of browser operations, eventually leading to a browser crash. IE users that have spyware or misbehaving add-ons can experience layout problems with CSS as well. We encourage our customers to use the web client, as it is full-featured and requires no configuration on your computer. Outlook PST files can be converted and uploaded easily into your account and all of your contacts and calendaring data will be available. Outlook meeting requests are fully supported.
